Selectively collected paper sorting plant
|
According to the data of National Waste Management Plan the participation of paper and cardboard within the municipal waste in 2004 amounted over 2 million Mg. While their participation within the light-weight package waste was bigger than 1,1 million Mg. Within next couple of years the further increase of the amount of paper and cardboard within the light-weight package waste is expected. The implementation of the selective collection systems increases in the future the volume of the selective collected paper and cardboard. In order to obtain the best prize for the recovered waste, there is necessary to segregate the waste stream using sorting system.
The technological design and equipment of the sorting plant depend very strictly on the waste supply stream, its composition, selective collecting system and the customer’s requirements. The automation rate is adjusted to the kind and amount of input material and the required parameters of exit-material.
In case of small quantities of input material, it is enough to use the installation equipped with the manual sorting cabin. The process bases on the manual sorting and its efficiency depends on the number of sorting stuff. The sorting stuff separates the valuable sorts of paper like newspapers, magazines, cardboard and throws them into the boxes under the sorting cabin. The paper goes onto the conveyor which moves it to the automatic channel press. As a result, we obtain logs, that are ready for transport to the storehouse of pressed secondary row materials.
In case of the bigger quantities of selectively collected paper and cardboard, it is necessarily to plan the sorting plant individually. The sorting system should achieve the optimal parameters of the end – product (the various sorts of paper), by the possibly low working costs. The sorting system can be equipped then with: feeding paper station, flat screen, star screen, trommel screen, air separators, optoelectronic NIR separators, iron separators, sorting cabins, buffer systems, automatic compactor for pressing. The technological plant should consider the right number of employees and the suitable automation level that allows for the obtaining optimum effects of the sorting process. |
