Substitute fuel production plant
|
The new, still expanding direction of the waste management is determinated by the issue of substitute fuel production from the municipal waste. The necessary and determining condition for the building of such installations is market size for the produced fuel. Customers in the cement, lime and power generation industry impose strict requirements on the fuel composition, in particularly they decide about the content of the chlorine, ferrous and nonferrous metals in the fuel as well as about the granulating, calorific value or water content. As a result, only the precise designation of these parameters allows to create the optimal conception of the installation for the substitute fuel production.
The substitution of the fossil fuels by the high quality fuel made of the waste is an increasing task within the area of waste management in the Western Europe.
The particular phases of the process differ in dependence of the waste composition to be processed and the destination of the substitute fuel. In the technological process the devices are used that allow for classification, crushing, separation of the nonferrous and ferrous metals, air or optoelectronic separation and pelletizing.
The many years of experience in design and completion of the substitute fuel production projects, brought the conclusion that the fraction that reminds after the segregation of mixed municipal waste should be processed, in order to get the right fuel parameters.
