Composting
|
Kind of the input material:
- kitchen waste from the selective collection,
- "green" waste from the selective collection,
- structural material,
- "wet" waste (small participation of impurities) by the selective collecting system with the division into so called "wet" and "dry" waste.
The composting process is only one method of the biological bio-waste treatment and can be accomplished with many of technological solutions. The technology determinates in particular: the period needed to obtain the required material’s parameters, emission rate, plant influence on the environment, operating costs.
The composting technology chosen properly allows for the humus production that can be used again by the possibly low operating costs. It should be emphasized that the compost quality depends mostly on the sort and quality of the input material. The waste that enable the compost production of the best quality is: bio-waste from the households collected selectively and green waste. The input material – green waste - can be prepared before composting process: cleaning and/or mixing.
The effects of the composting process:
- getting compost of the high quality.
